What future for Europe’s culture in the digital age?

Until now, the kaleidoscope of European culture has been nurtured, inspiring a significant catalogue of films and TV programmes. These audiovisual experiences that Europeans treasure are feasible due to territoriality and exclusive licensing – a specific financing model that transforms ideas into culture. This model brings together creators from various European countries to create your favourite films and TV programmes (known as co-productions). Territoriality allows European culture to thrive and continue. Without it, your favourite European films, TV programmes and cultural icons would not have been made.
